Dell Inspiron 1525 fan never shuts off. Is something very wrong?
I have a two year old Dell Inspiron 1525. A little while after I turn it on the fan kicks in… and then it never shuts off. I can’t say if it’s always done this because I never noticed it before. Probably it didn’t always do that and that’s why I didn’t notice it.
Now that I have noticed it I’m worried that something is wrong. A google search only yielded me a bunch of forums with people complaining about the sound of the fan – which it doesn’t really bother me.
So. Is this dangerous? Should I be getting this looked at by a professional?
I think it is ok, it may just take more now then before to cool. Also if you can get in there and clean out w/ air duster, it could be clogged w/ crap that floats around in air. good luck
