Are laptop batteries 'consumer'?
The company I work for has a contract computer repair / Laptop / Printing equipment. As part of this agreement that do not cover items that are considered "consumable." It's things like Toner Cartridges and more. It our hypothesis that, since most phones only manufactures to limit the warranty on batteries for a year (even if the laptop has guaranteed for 2 or 4 years old), batteries are considered consumables. I'm sure you're reading this, you can agree. However, I need a statement a manufacturer of notebook, preferably IBM / Lenovo, in fact, the batteries must be replaced at my end users on a regular basis. Batteries is considered a "consumption" and should be degraded over time. With each charge, (although Li-ion) of the total capacity is reduced. With the cycles of your case, a battery last longer, as if to say, it must be constantly charging the battery, it is preferable to fully depleated few times a year to increase the duration battery, but instead stop in each battery charge. Also the batteries are not a part that can be repaired, are something a whole must be replaced. The way of looking really see your coverage of the abuse of the equipment when loading / unloading have not been made, which can cause unnecessary wear, and you may be able to cover that.
