Bleach and burgundy high lights have made my hair look pink?
does anyone know if it would be easily sorted, by putting a toner on, to lift the pink out, or should i just get my hairdresser to bleach the pink out of it, I have these colors quite often, and its a re occurring problem turning out pink.
sounds like bleedover… are you doing the highlights and burgundy streaks separately in separate foils, and washing the burgundy out first? Usually bleedover like that happens when you wash both at once, and the burgundy hasn’t rinsed out all the way. I’ve done burgundy and blond myself, and have no issues with pink. It’s possible also to do them completely separately, apply burgundy, rinse thoroughly, apply bleach.
The toner is what I’d recommend myself, don’t use bleach to remove the pink tone unless it’s absolutely necessary.
