Can a diamond be Reset Chips without problems?
My boyfriend proposed to her mother's ring and I love it. I am thrilled and honored have it. Unfortunately, I found a bullet in the belt. I'll try to reset it. Is this a good idea? 0.5 is a tower of brilliant and I want a framework of contacts, but I have fear of damaging the diamond. Then a jeweler polish or should I take in a special place? This is not a forgery.
A jeweler should be able to successfully to restore the diamond without difficulty unless a bad pen (a crack in the diamond – not usually a problem) If the chip is a small waist and not without feathers attached to the tab in your jeweler may be able to hide the chip on a pin, or within a semi. The shops I've worked with have done this work many times without damaging the diamond. Congratulations for its commitment to true!
