HP2300DN connection to my printer BT Home Hub has a JetDirect card that connects the printer, but can not find?
I use WinXP. I tried to a reception center and major center of 2Wire. I connect via Ethernet. The printer setup shows an IP address you use to install a Printer Network via the Control Panel, but seem unable to communicate with the printer
In my experience, the default IP address is usually very rare in the HP Jetdirect devices. Maybe a stupid idea, but make sure the printer's IP address is in the same range as the PC and the router. Also you can see the network mask and default gateway is correct. If you print a configuration page from the printer (usually hold down or something) and try to ping the specified IP address of your PC, the reaction you get?
