Connecting a printer to a computer via an Ethernet cable.?
Hi all, I have a Network Printer, but because of network problems, does not work. For now I just want to connect the printer to stratight behind a computer. The problem is that I have a USB Printer Cable in hand, that the Ethernet cable that was connected to the network. "I can connect the printer directly to the computer with the Ethernet cable and install it if the Control Panel. I had a go, but you can to do so. I'm running Vista. Health
I think u can. But u may need a crossover Ethernet cable cable. At least the PC or printer is the automatic detection. You can always try. will not damage your system. If the system was running before the power failure. The parameters are the same, if the printer a static IP address. I do not know if Vista will problems with that. I think not.
