What is the photoconductor unit for Color Laser printer?
Can anyone help me out what is C52034X Lexmark Toner photoconductor? What is the purpose of the photoconductor unit?
A photoconductor is a material that conducts electricity when exposed to light. Photocopiers and Laser Printers have a big roll coated with photoconductive material. As the drum rotates, which is electrically charged by a High Voltage cable of crown. The next step is to record an image using a laser or light reflected from the mirrors on the drum as it neutralize the charge when the light, leaving a latent image or a load in the form of static image to be copied.
