How I can adjust the temperature of a thermostatic valve in the shower?
I moved to a bedroom and we have all our own shower. All are equipped with thermostatic valves Armitage Shanks is supposed to control the temperature. But mine is still hot even in position lower one, the water temperature is about 45deg C. I had a look at the unit, but can not really see how one could define it. On the left is the entry of heat and cold is on the right, then go to the unit thermostat and the top is the showerhead.
In 45C is below the normal range water temperature 49-52C if you're probably at the lower range of the thermostat shower. You could try calling the support number Armitage Shanks, 0870 122 8822 and see if there is a way to lower the minimum temperature setting. If you can get control valves, so maybe you can close the water tap hot point where the mixed water temperature is cool enough for you. You may be better with keeping the bedroom and ask them to lower the temperature for you.
