Canon XTi can charge without charger OEM (OEM replacement) battery?
I'm about to buy a spare battery b / c battery OEM is too expensive. I just want to know if the charger kit can charge the OEM battery. thx for your reply! by the way, I mean the OEM battery is 1200mAh. yes, if it fails, I have to buy a spare magazine.
I have a non-OEM batteries in the charger for my Canon without problems for 3 years. You should be fine. But Buyer beware! Non-OEM batteries may be prone to fires, leaks and other issues. My Rebel XT does not necessarily mean that batteries are not OEM and after 50 frames, indicating that the battery is almost dead on the side of the battery meter. I learned that I was lying and the battery still has life in it and can take 400 other pictures, but the Canon OEM batteries do not demonstrate the aggravating nature. IMO, you should be extra money to buy an OEM battery. While countries such as Best Buy and Circuit City are too expensive, then go to Amazon.com and check their prices. In general, I pay very little for Canon batteries and battery on Amazon generic big box stores. Good luck with your photos!
