Why is my lazer Color Printer has a blank line to print?
The printer has several years but rarely use it. This is only for special print jobs is still in perfect condition. It is 99% of the time. It is a Konica Minolta magicolor 2400W with four Toner Cartridges. The "line" is approximately 3 "on the left. It is not really a" line "is a total lack of toner. I do not study because I have no idea what I'm doing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Paul L basically covered how a Laser Printer and a possible problem / solution, but hopefully I can throw some more light on it. The printer uses a carousel of four toner cartridges, drum and Transfer Belt. Since it appears that all colors missing, then the toner cartridges are not suspected by the issue. The region lacks toner may be the result of poor transfer belt or drum, but more likely is that I saw something like a piece of paper or debris trapped in or on the mechanisms to scrape the toner is applied drum or belt or prevent that applies to them by blocking their path. It is also possible that part of the window of the laser lens is dirty or blocked to prevent the laser from the analysis battery properly to create the image here. User's Reference Manual includes the removal and cleaning of these elements. Carefully review all of them. It is also possible that something in or just before the merger is to scrape the ink paper, but is scratched or toner layer in this area, so I do not think that is a concern. If you find nothing visible source of the problem and cleaning does not work then your last chance would be to replace the battery / transfer belt. Good luck.
