Does anyone know why my magenta ink does not print, but will make the whole world?
I have a Brother Mfc-5840CN printer copier, fax, scanner. All prints except magenta ink. I changed the ink, so I know what it is not that I have cleaned the Print Head five times. Magenta does not print at all. Already not under warranty and I do not know if it would be useful to have a place to have it looked at.
If the Ink Cartridges have been dumped into the printer for some time, perhaps the cartridge is good and just need encouragement to start working again. Get a damp paper towel and keep it in place against the bottom Ink Cartridge. If the ink is fast I would like to conclude this is not blocked, but if not, keep them for about 15 minutes or until it begins to see " ink flow.
