Printing problems please help me!?
I am using a lexmark 3550 printer with genuine Lexmark Ink
and it wont print anything.
It opens the status bar thing but stays below 25% and the printer does nothing.
i believe its a problem with the computer because my previous printer was also a lexmark.
but it might just be the printer.
Im running a good computer with vista and the printer is
vista compatible.
I have checked the Usb Cable many thimes and the power plug too everything is right but not working.
the printer does however, print from when i plug my camera’s SD card into the printer.
Iv’e also tried buying a new cable but nothing worked and i just bought the ink cartriges
I have a problem sometimes with my printer too. Delete it totally from your computer and try reloading it with the disc it came with. I am also using Vista and my printer is an all-in-one. Sometimes the scanner doesnt work when i press the button, but it will work when i open my Corel photo. Go to the Control Panel, delete the printer from there first, then go to your all programs and totally delete it. Once it is gone, you can probably reload it and it will automatically find a different driver for you. If this doesnt work, then you may have to contact Lexmark. Hope this helped a little bit.
