HP Color LaserJet 4700, that sent the print job to the printer, the printer displays a "treatment" see flashes of data, then everything disappeared. I replaced the formatter board. the same thing. Why?
First thing I would do is verify that the printer can print a test page, as a configuration page or one of the other reports, to ensure it operates at a basic level and internal. If this is not an internal print test, then you have something inside printer. It could be the coach, if you have already replaced, it is potentially possible that the new board has the same problem. Other possibilities could be controller board, DC, the hard drive (if installed), Jetdirect print server network card or one of the two power supplies. If the test print domestic OK, you can always have another coach defective card, a faulty hard drive (if installed), or the server JetDirect network card could also be causing the problem (I have seen many times).
