Should I install I chip In My 98 Golf?
Im thinking about adding a auto-tech chip to my 98 golf. I have heard good and bad things about chips, including that a chip may screw up my computer? Anybody used this chip or have any info for me? thanks in advance
i currently use a jet performance control module, alot easier all u do is follow the three steps and you are done, all u do is unplug the recommended computer harness plug the module in and plug the stock wire back over the module. it will remodify everything after about three tankfuls, you can buy them at jegs, i have one on my 2004 dodge neon awesome improvement. you should gain up to 25 horsepower. or you could send your whole computer in and get it reflashed for optimun performance, good luck to ya!!!
