My computer running out of disk space, what does that mean?
I have a hewlet packard windows vista lap top and it has been telling me to clean up files etc. I am not even sure what a file is. Somone said I could buy another disk..what do I do with the old one?
What will happen if I run out?
Needless to say I am computer illiterate (sixty four years old with mild Alzheimers)
Most laptops come preloaded with a bunch of junk! Combine this junk with your downloads, docs, and temp files and you can run out of space quickly. I suggest you run a disk cleanup by going to Control Panel>Performance INfor and Tools> Open Disk Cleanup If this does not do the job I suggest visiting www.livepcpros.com and requesting a sytem optimization package through them. THis will clean the system completely.
