Authentic Hoodia Gordonii, how to know
The strange, almost ugly looking plant Hoodia Gordonii is now an endangered species and must be grown, harvested and distributed under strict guidelines to regulate. Authentic and genuine Hoodia Gordonii is a certificate, a certificate of origin and the most important of all, a CITES certificate.
A CITES certificate (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species Endangered Species) is a permit or license granted by the country of origin under a resolution UN to protect endangered species such as animals or plants (flora and fauna) that are grown or cultivated and exported for profit.
The process of obtaining a CITES certificate may be very involved and tedious, bureaucratic and expensive. It is often a process that some Hoodia producers prefer to ignore, or worse, false.
How verify genuine Hoodia Gordonii
A majority of the suppliers of Hoodia Gordonii will try to call attention to the authenticity of their product by the presentation of the CITES certificate marketing materials, Internet sales from your site or product packaging.
A closer examination often reveals that the mark product or manufacturer does not correspond to the organization that has been granted permission – if in doubt consult the document.
The name and address shown in the upper left corner – Do not read confidential or private. If the manufacturer will not be shown publicly – that may have something to hide.
Another document that should point the authenticity is the certification of origin – or C O. certificate. Hoodia Gordonii is native to South Africa and therefore the CO of the documents shall be issued by the Cape Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry introduced the supplier or manufacturer.
Recently, the plant Hoodia Gordonii is grown exclusively in the Republic South Africa. Countries like China, Mexico and North America are allowed to farm, harvest and export. Hoodia Gordonii products from these countries are no less or no longer as true as his South African counterpart but are considered by many to be hybrids and not as powerful and not as pure as native to South Africa for breeding.
Pure Hoodia Gordonii is a natural appetite the most effective in existence.
