What AMD motherboard can I get that fits into dell cases?
Okay I have a Dell Dimension 9150 with a Pentium D processor. I want to get one of the new AMD quad-core processors (specifically an AMD Athlon II X4 630) because they have gotten so inexpensive. I need a motherboard that has an AM3 socket for the processor. Now here’s the catch, Dell decided to be a jerk when designing their desktops because they design their motherboards and cases backwards (everything like the ethernet and usb ports are on the right side instead of the left).
So, does anyone know of a motherboard that isn’t very expensive that would fit into my Dell case? (I’d want around $100 or below because it was much more, it would be better just to get a new case)
Those Dell cases are a royal pain in the butt. You are not going to find a backwards AM3 motherboard that will fit. Look for another case. Sorry!
