Connect to Vista shared printer problems with Windows XP Dell Laser.
I have a WinXP machine to run my printer. Each time I try to connect to the Dell 1700 Laser Printer not install it. I downloaded the Vista drivers, but I give it to install the printer locally or a share network for other machines to access it. Unfortunately there is no option to connect to and share a printer on the network !!??!! When I try to run drivers Vista on the XP machine, so you can share the printer on the network, the software resists and complains that it can run on XP lol, I'm going round and round lol. Ideas anyone?
