hp1350 all in One Printer continues to print a Test Page every time I turn on my printer.?
My hp1350 all in one printer continues to print a road test every time I turn on my printer. It all started after upgrading to Internet Explorer 7 and I found that Internet Explorer 7 does not recognize the printer. I removed IE 7 and went back to Explorer 6. My Printer Works now, but seems to delay a few minutes before printing. I removed and reinstalled the HP printer software on two occasions, but I have the same problems. I installed a new cartridge. I saw in Internet instructions to reapply the default settings after opening the HP Director as a patch. I can not find the HP Director. What are the steps to find the HP Director? Any suggestions for a solution. Thanks Michael
No problem this will remedy the situation. Please follow exactly and in order. 1. Turn the printer off and wait 10 seconds. 2 Turn it on again. Printing the page Test the printer. 3. After the test page prints, disconnect the Usb Cable that connects the printer to the computer. Do not turn off the printer while disconnecting the cable USB. 4. Place the test page on the scanner glass and press the SCAN button on the printer. The indicator light flashes when the page is being scanned. 5. Delete the test page when the light is constant. 6. Finally, turn the printer off and wait another 10 seconds. Then again. No test page printing! Yay! (Now you can connect the printer to your Computer Usb cable.)
