How can I "unlock" an Ink Cartridge for Canon iP4200?
I bought a 924 Quality compatible PGI-5BK for my printer Canon iP4200. Since no actual ink usage, errors are in place and function of quality, I had to make releasing iP4200 ink. Now I've stopped buying and Quality genuine use. However, even thought I installed genuine, 5BK black slot shows as empty on the computer, how can I "unlock" to display the ink level?
You can not. When "free" ink, which basically decided to void your warranty and Canon no longer has an obligation repair your printer if you're wrong on Printer Ink. Therefore, although you may have real ink there now, you wouldnt know if the original ink damaged before the Print Head, therefore not responsible for the print head now.
