I have black bugs in a jar sealed with long grain rice in it. What are they and why should I have?
Sheila is right. I had a insect infestation and took a couple of pest control and have what is known as grain beetles sawtooth. Was British Columbia and they are mainly things in starch and when conditions are favorable hatching. Sounds gross I know, but most times you never know until this issue is still there you see the errors. They were in my rice, too. But you know what – at that time I was Minute Rice, and they also have to avoid like the plague, as it is.
